ABOUT THE CONTEST

The Tallenge Macro Photography Contest is one of its kind. No "know-it all" judges. It allows participants to benefit from their social network and puts every viewer in the judge's chair.

How does the contest work?

You post your macro photography on www.tallenge.com and it gets seen by a global web audience where it will compete against best-matched macro photography by other contestants in a head-to-head format

Does the contest have a participation fee?

No. You do not have to pay any money, or buy anything, to participate in any contest on Tallenge.

Who can participate?

No restriction on where you are from, or which language you are using. This competition is truly GLOBAL.

What format is accepted?

You can upload files in the following formats:

a) Image files: .jpg; .png; .gif

b) File size: maximum file size of 10 MB

Who decides the winner?

No know-it-all judges to critique your work. Visitors to the Tallenge website will choose the winner by casting their vote for the entry they prefer. You can also invite your family and friends to vote for you to give you a leg up in the competition.

What does the winner get?

Firstly, you get the immense satisfaction of competing against talent from around the globe, and winning! You also win the $500 prize money along with recognition and other opportunities.

What happens to my entry after the contest ends?

Once this contest is over, your macro photography entry will compete in the $2000 quarterly contest followed by the $10,000 annual contest.

CONTEST RULES

• The deadline for the contest is 11:59 PM GMT on 7-April-2015. The winner will be announced on 10-April-2015
• You may enter as many times as you wish, provided that each submission is unique and satisfies the submission requirements
• The submission must be the submitting entrant's original work and not contain any third party copyrighted material, nor any obscene, defamatory or illegal material
• By participating in the contest, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of Tallenge Inc
• No entrant will be eligible to receive a prize unless Tallenge determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that such entrant's submission has been or can be sufficiently cleared for legal purposes
• No purchase necessary and no entry fee to participate
