AerxLabs announces first ever National Level UAV Design Competitionfocused on next generation UAV technology development

AerxLabs invites entries for the following Themes:

Engineering Themes

• Multimodal interface for UAV control (Voice/Gestures)
• Advanced Applications (CAD, GIS, visual simulation, surveying and remote sensing)
• Sense and Avoid in flight obstacles
• High Endurance Non Conventional UAV Design (Hybrid Power, Crash Resistance, All weather)
• Motion Control for 3 to 6 axis Degree of Freedom platform for ground station
• Aircraft Stabilization and Flight Control Law for wind drift correction
• Non GPS navigation system (Vision, IRS)

Design Themes 

• Futuristic aerial transportation vehicle design (personal/cargo)
• Multi Modal Interface (eg. Voice/Gesture) to monitor and control Aerial Vehicles
• Design of Ground Monitoring Unit/App
• Future Air Traffic Management for UAVs
• Non Conventional UAV Design (High Endurance, Tilt Rotor, Crash Resistance, All Weather)

In general, entries on enhancements in Security, Safety and Efficiency of UAVs will be accepted as well.
