International Energy Idea Competition

DESCRIPTION
WEYF, in partnership with Columbia University, the oldest institution of higher learning in the State of New York, conEdison, one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the United States, and the US Department of State, is an annual gathering of youth representatives, around 20 thousand participants and competitors from over 100 countries, Star CEO's, and students from top universities worldwide.

WEYF invites youth all over the world to participate in our Annual International Energy Idea Competition in areas of Scientific Discovery and Technology Innovation, Nature Preservation, Architecture, Arts and Policy and Business. Scientific Discovery and Technology Innovation competition aims to encourage future scientists and inventors to develop their talents, share their knowledge and be able to change the world and will have far-reaching implication for human development.

Nature Preservation competition are for those youth who would want to make a change, and take initiative in preserving our natural environment for a sustainable world. For those young artists worldwide, who care about the sustainability of human practices in energy and water and their impact on the natural environment, we call upon you to join our Art Competition( film, painting, photography, sculpture, dance, music and fashion are all included).

If you have new ideas on policies, businesses and finances which can help on the well-being of the human race, then WEYF is encouraging you to join our Policy and Business Competition. For those who are inclined to designing buildings and structures which can be helpful for the environment, such as energy-generating structures or buildings, then we are cordially inviting you to share your creative ideas to help make our world a sustainable place to live in.
